Robert E. Lee Elementary School was chosen as 2018 CLAS Schools of Distinction. This award recognizes school programs that serve as outstanding educational models for other schools in Alabama. Out of 160 schools nominated, only twenty-four schools were selected and we are honored that both Satsuma Schools received awards. 

Robert E. Lee Elementary School is being recognized for their Collaborative Science Learning Community. This project took the dedicated time and effort of faculty, staff, students, and volunteers within our community.
