  • Will distance learning be the same as the close of last year? What will online learning look like?

    Posted by:

[Updated 7/16/20 11:50 am] Typical online assignments during the Spring of 2020 were assigned on Monday and due on Friday. The new distance learning model may require daily interaction. For parents who declare the Distance Learning option, students will not work at their own pace. Students will be assigned to a virtual classroom that is facilitated by a Satsuma teacher. It will be the responsibility of the parent and student to meet the deadlines set by the teacher. Lesson will be completed and assignments will be submitted based on due dates established by the teacher.

We are making every effort to provide more detailed, grade-specific information next week to those considering the Distance Learning option so that they may make an informed decision for their student(s).
