In 2012 I was a part of the first graduating class of Saraland High School. I left Saraland and attended the University of South Alabama where I received a Bachelors in Social Science and Secondary Education.
Experience:
My first experience in teaching high school happened when I was in college and was going through my student teacher program. I was assigned to be the student teacher here at Satsuma High School to history teacher who I now work with. After graduating college I taught at Chickasaw High School for two years. While teaching there I taught 9th, 10th, and 11th grade. I have been teaching at Satsuma High School for two years now, and I love it just as much as I did when I was a student teacher here!
Bio:
I am someone who truly loves history and makes a point of making the students love it too! When I am not at school I am often attending professional development related to history and how to best teach it. I also love to attend historic sites and reenactments!
