Mrs. Brittni Wright
This will be my 7th year at Satsuma High School. I was previously at Davidson High School where I was the head softball coach and taught History Essentials for 9-12 grade. In my first year at Satsuma, I worked with 7th and 8th-grade inclusion and taught 9th-grade transition. This is my 6th year in our Self-Contained classroom. The kids are a joy to work with and I have enjoyed my time in this classroom. I am in my 6th year of being the JV volleyball coach at Satsuma High School. In May of 2023, I was selected to receive a scholarship for National Board Certification, so over the next 2 years, I will be completing components, to receive that accomplishment.
I graduated from Satsuma in 2010, where I played volleyball and softball; I also graduated with honors. I went to Marion Military Institute in Marion, Al, for 2 years and played softball on scholarship. After receiving my Associate's Degree, I went to Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. I played softball for 2 years on scholarship and received my Bachelors's in Psychology. After completing my time at Belhaven I received an offer to be the Graduate Assistant Softball Coach at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. I obtained my Master's Degree in Special Education along with coaching softball at the collegiate level for 2 years.
I married my wonderful husband, Timothy Wright, in 2019. I have an awesome bonus son, and I have a daughter who was born in July of 2022. We enjoy swimming, fishing, and playing around as a family. We are so excited to be a part of the Gator family and look forward to our kids being raised around such great people. GO GATORS!
