This is my 4th year at Satsuma High School, I was previously at Davidson High School where I was the head softball coach and taught History Essentials for 9-12 grade. My first year at Satsuma I worked with 7th and 8th grade inclusion and taught 9th grade transition. This is my 3rd year in our Self-Contained classroom. The kids are a joy to work with and I have enjoyed my time in this classroom. I am currently in school at West Alabama to receive my Education Specialist Degree in Special Education Collaboration 6-12. I am in my 4th year of being the JV Volleyball coach at Satsuma High School.
I graduated from Satsuma in 2010 where I played volleyball and softball; I also graduated with honors. I went to Marion Military Institute in Marion, Al, for 2 years and played softball on scholarship. After receiving my Associate's Degree I went to Belhaven University in Jackson, MS. I played softball 2 years on scholarship and recevied my Bachelors in Psychology. After completing my time at Belhaven I received an offer to be the Graduate Assistnat Softball Coach at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. I obtained my Master's Degree in Special Education along with coaching softball at the collegiate level for 2 years.
I married my wonderful husband, Timothy Wright in 2019. I have an awesome bonus kid who is 5. We spend our extra time out in the pool and fishing whenever we get the chance. We absolutely love being apart of the Satsuma community.
