Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Laubenthal

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Laubenthal. Don't worry, most of the students just call me, Mrs. L. My husband's family originated from Germany and Laubenthal can be very difficult for some of our little gators to pronounce. I happily answer to Mrs. Laubenthal, Mrs. L or crazy science lady.

I'm a Satsuma High School graduate. My favorite memory from Satsuma would be from my senior year as I served as the mascot. My mascot name was Allie the Gator. It feels great to teach in the community I grew up in. I'm a University of Mobile graduate with a Master's Degree in Education. I LOVE teaching with all of my heart! Teaching is my passion and my hope is it shows in the science lab, outdoor classroom and in car line each morning!

My family and I live in Satsuma. What can I say...... once a gator, always a gator. My husband is a Social Studies teacher at Dunbar Magnet Middle School in Mobile County. We have two precious children, Chloe Violet and Kaiser.

I can't wait to get this party started! Everyday is a great day in the Science lab.

Go Gators!!!!!
