Mrs. Kate Baxter
About Me
Hi! My name is Kate Baxter, and I teach 4th grade. This will be my 6th year teaching at Lee. We are blessed to call Lee home! We have just moved from Satusma and are currently building a home in Axis. I am married to Justin, and we have one son, Neilan, who is in 6th grade! When I’m not at work, I enjoy cooking, kayaking, and binge watching Netflix.
Experience and Education
It's hard to believe I am starting my 20th year teaching! I have taught 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. I taught for 6 years in Mobile, AL, 2 years in Columbia, SC, 6 years in Daphne, and now at Lee. I graduated in 2003 with a degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama. In 2009 I finished my Master’s Degree in Guidance Counseling from the University of West Alabama.
I'm excited about "returning to normal." I'm looking forward to a great year! It's GREAT to be a GATOR!
