Gifted Education Teacher

My name is Melissa Blake.  I have been an educator since 1998. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education  from the University of Mobile in 1995 and my Master’s Degree in Library Media from the University of South Alabama in 2001.  I gained my Gifted Certification in 2020.  I am currently awaiting to hear if I will gain my National Board Certification in Gifted in December.   I have been happily married to Corey since 2002.  We have two children, Dustin and Shelby.  And I have a cat named Chloe.  I love what I do and where I teach. My students are my kids as well.  I love each and every one of them.  When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, relaxing and going to church.
