AEDs IN SCHOOLS

In order to maintain the health and safety of all Satsuma City School students and employees, an AED will be available in each school, and will be utilized in emergency situations warranting its use by individuals specifically trained in the use of the device. AED units at the elementary school shall have adult pads/electrodes and child pads/electrodes. AED units at the high school will have adult pads/electrodes only. The lead school nurse will be responsible for coordinating the AED program.
