The Satsuma City School System is continuing their efforts to expand our Career Tech Education Program so that our students are receiving the educational training they need to enter the surrounding workforce more competitively. The purpose of the Career/Technical Education Advisory Committee is to ensure that our curriculum content, equipment, and materials are current and that we are offering the best curriculum content, equipment, and materials for our students to become workforce ready. It also allows our school system to establish and maintain cooperative working relations with leaders in related industries, businesses, organizations, and agencies in our area. This committee meets twice a year for a brief meeting to discuss our programs and to make sure that we are up to date on the needs of our area.
