Satsuma City Schools is governed by a five-member Board of Education that is responsible for formulating policies that govern the system. The day to day operation of the school system is entrusted to the Superintendent of Education, who is appointed by the Board of Education and his staff, which includes a Director of Curriculum, Technology, and Federal Programs, a Student Service Coordinator, and a Director of Career Technical Education, Textbook, and Testing. The Board of Education also employs a Chief School Financial Officer.
