The City of Satsuma, established in 1959, has a modest population of 6,168. The City continually experiences growth. The Satsuma School District is highly supported by the community with active PTOโs and an Educational Foundation. The occupancy rate in Satsuma is very high because families strive to move into the city in order to attend the schools.
Lee Elementary School offers many options for students. It begins with the Pre-K through First Grade Gold Standard Program. All students are taught by highly qualified teachers. They are provided many opportunities including: the Gator Gardens, an outdoor playground, Science Lab, NEHS, Future City Team, STEAM, Robotics, Accelerated Reader, Leader In Me, The Gifted Program, Music, and Archery.
Lee Elementary School students enjoy full school days of teaching and learning. The students are offered a variety of different hands-on learning opportunities. Here they develop and grow into future leaders. The students enjoy recess, a time of free play, which helps to develop their individual character. The learning environment at REL is positive and inviting, which allows the students to achieve individual success.
